Terms of Service

The rules for using the VeloxCalc calculators, converters and market data.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service describe the rules that apply when you use VeloxCalc and its calculators, converters and pages.

By accessing or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use VeloxCalc.

2. Who may use the service

VeloxCalc is a general-audience service. It is not directed at children, and you should use it only if you are old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live.

You are responsible for making sure that your use of the website complies with the laws and regulations that apply to you.

3. Permitted use

You may use VeloxCalc free of charge for personal and professional purposes.

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, do not send automated requests that interfere with normal operation, do not copy or resell the service as your own, and do not use it in a way that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.

4. Free service, availability and changes

VeloxCalc is offered free of charge. We do not guarantee that the website, or any individual tool, will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

We may add, change, suspend or remove tools, pages and features at any time. Where necessary to protect the service, we may also limit or block access.

5. Results are estimates, not advice

Calculators and converters return estimates based on the values you enter and on the assumptions described on each page.

Nothing on VeloxCalc is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical or other professional advice, and no result should be the sole basis for a decision.

You remain responsible for checking any figure before you rely on it.

6. File conversion tools

The PDF, JPEG and PNG converters run inside your browser. Your files are not uploaded to our servers.

You are responsible for the files you process and for holding the rights needed to use them.

Conversion can fail or produce unexpected output for damaged, unusually large or password-protected files, and processing speed depends on your device. Always keep a copy of your original file.

7. Market data and third-party content

Currency, cryptocurrency and precious metals values come from third-party market-data providers. They may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, are shown for information only, and are not an offer or a recommendation to trade.

The website may link to third-party sites, which are governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies.

8. No warranty

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any calculation, conversion or market value.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeloxCalc shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Intellectual property

The VeloxCalc name, logo, design and written content belong to the operator of this website. You may use the website and its results for your own purposes, but you may not copy, redistribute or rebrand the service without permission.

The files and values you enter remain yours.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or to applicable requirements. The version published on this page is the one that applies.

Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

The operator responsible for VeloxCalc is identified in the Impressum. Which law applies, and where disputes are handled, depends on that operator and on the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you live; these terms do not limit any rights you have under those rules.

Questions about these terms can be raised through the Contact page.
