Merge PDF Files Into One Document
This converter combines several PDF files into a single PDF, keeping every page in the order you arrange. Everything is assembled in your browser — the files are never uploaded.
What You Get
- One PDF that contains the pages of every file you added.
- Full control over the order of the files, so the merged document reads exactly the way you want.
- A single download named
merged.pdfinstead of several separate files.
How to Merge
- Drop your PDFs onto the upload area or choose several of them at once.
- Arrange the list: move a file up or down, or remove the ones you do not need.
- Start the merge and wait for the progress to finish.
- Download the combined PDF.
Order, Pages and Quality
Order of the Files
Pages are added file by file, top to bottom. If the sequence matters, use the up and down controls next to each file until the list is right. Removing a file simply drops all of its pages from the result.
Quality
The pages are copied unchanged from the originals, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. Nothing is re-compressed or re-rendered, and the merged file is typically close to the sum of its parts.
Why the Merge Happens in Your Browser
The files are read with the File API and the PDF structure is written in memory by this page. Nothing is sent to a server, and the documents disappear as soon as you reset the tool or close the tab. Because the work is local, the tool also keeps working offline once it has loaded.
Limits and Large Sets
You can merge up to 20 PDF files of up to 50 MB each. Every file adds its pages to the result, so a large set takes longer to assemble and needs more memory; if you have more files, merge them in batches and combine the results afterwards.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the files uploaded anywhere?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser and the files are never sent to a server.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes. Use the up and down controls in the file list to move a file before or after its neighbours until the sequence is right.
What happens with a damaged or password-protected file?
A damaged file that cannot be read is reported with a clear message so you can remove it. A password-protected PDF must be unprotected before it can be merged, because its pages cannot be read otherwise.
Is there a limit to how many files I can merge?
You can add up to 20 files at a time, each up to 50 MB. Larger collections are best merged in batches.
